Races on Sunday 21st June including multiple winner Peter Tucker of Blackheath

This Tuesday is the 2nd of our trilogy of Summer Trail Runs - the Chevening Run.
Departure times are as follows :-Meet promptly at 7.30pm at the buff
for the full distance circa 11 miles or if you fancy a shorter Chevening Run of
approximately 4 - 5 miles then meet at the end of Pound Lane at the junction of
Knockholt Main Road at 8pm ...
Chris Marshall's "long group" are also planning a 12 miler departing from the
buff at 8pm which may be heading towards Chevening ....

June 8th: This Tuesday is the first of our Trilogy of Summer Trail runs -
the Nash
Circular Run departing at 8pm from the lamppost with the normal shorter
options as well ..... |
June 7th: We now have 247 runners for
the
10k race at this years Orpington Races on Sunday 21st June, we are limited
to 500 runners so don't delay and signup
today ....

From this Tuesday night our Membership Secretary - Paula Ferguson will be
running a beginners group running for 10 weeks until Tuesday 11th August. Click

in the London Marathon then join the

train service from Orpington Station to meet up with your fellow ORR's ...
After the race the ORR baggage handlers will be on the first three
GREEN lorries in the Mall be
sure to give them a wave ...
The post marathon celebration will be held at the Royal Oak Public House in
Green Street Green, from 7pm. The pub has kindly agreed to lay on some free
table snacks, but are also offering a special two meals for £10 deal with those
with healthier appetites ...

Feb 8th: IMPORTANT HANDICAP MESSAGE The February Handicap is
due next Tuesday 10 February and at the moment the course is clear of snow.
However, the forecast for Monday night and Tuesday is for more heavy snow. If
there is lying snow on Tuesday, we will postpone the Handicap to the following
Tuesday 17 Feb.
